My appointment was at one for an oil change and tire rotation. Dropped vehicle off at 12:30 and was told to pick up at 2:00. Got there at three and was told that they forgot about my vehicle. They apologized quite a bit and then took care of.

I took my 2013 Tahoe in to get the dome lights in sync. The day before the service rep went to my vehicle, when he returned he said the problem was simple and was fixed. Yet when I drove away the dome lights were not working properly. (The dome lights stayed on the entire time, even when the engine was off and all the doors were closed. The problem was not fixed.) The next day I made an appointment. I briefly mentioned to the attendant the situation shouldn't take long, saying it was some sort of malfunction with the dome lights. Atleast that's what I figured. When it came time to pay the bill, the total came to $238. I was stunned. Dome lights! For that price, I could have turned on the dome lights manually. I was never consulted or prepared for the cost of the repair, if there was a cost. The attendant informed me how much his workers made per hour for repairs, then explained to me there was a wire missing that controlled the dome lights. Still in disbelief, I paid the full amount. When I returned to my car, my seat was moved up and my steering wheel had been lowered. I never mind if the workers have to adjust the seats, as long as they leave it like they found it. I am 6'6". I know! In my 7-plus years I have used Clay Maxey (Elite), I have always had full confidence, personal, and professional care for a job always well done. There was an obvious lack of communication on the cost, and not moving my car seat & steering wheel back to its normal position. All were undemanding. The name of my service rep was Clint. Friendly and experienced

AJ ask me to drop off my truck to replace the valve body in my transmission on Thursday and I picked it up Friday the next day. Service was great.

The service department (AJ more specifically) was very patient and kind with me! I bought a vehicle from a different dealership out of town and it turned out to have a lot of issues. AJ helped me get my warranty stuff sorted and kept me up to date on everything. Once they got my transmission that was needed the service department was super quick to fix my vehicle and give it back to me. There were no issues or dirtiness when I got it back too! They treated me and my vehicle excellent and I would highly rate them to anyone!

Came in for two recalls on March 7, 2025. Checked hood latch and needed to order part. Second recall was for software update and tech could not do it. Came back on March 18, 2025 for hood latch replacement and software update. Hood latch was replaced but software was not, due to poor internet connection. One and three quarter hours seem excessive to remove and replace two bolts.

Everyone was professional, but the issue is not fixed. We still get smoke, diesel exhaust in the cabin when the recirculation button is on. Not happy

It was very fast and dud everything I needed done.

We stopped to start shopping for a vehicle. Clay Maxey was our first stop and we planned to work our way down the highway to other dealerships. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who got us a salesperson. Colby Bain came and spoke with us to see how he could help. We were firm in expressing no V4’s only V6 or more was acceptable. We walked the lot and test drove a few cars. We decided we wanted a new car vs a used due to the warranty. Colby suggested we test a V4 turbo because we were eyeing an Equinox. We said we’d give it a try. Colby totally listened to our concerns and let us experience new technology without being pushy. Colby was very respectful and courteous. The rest was paperwork, paperwork and more paperwork. The bottom line is we have a vehicle that we are happy with along with a relationship with a dealership that is there for all of our needs.

I quoted a price of 400 to fix my car. When I picked it up ot was 800. The extended warranty I bought has just expired.

All of the guys were very helpful. I reviewed everything on the new traverse. Ask several times if I had any questions. The only thing was doing the paperwork. I waited probably 45 minutes before I got in to do the paperwork. Then I didn’t have any paperwork and was told that it would be mailed to me in two weeks. That’s not acceptable.

Clay Stewart was an excellent salesman. I spoke to him on the phone and explained what I was wanting and he was great. The next morning he called and said he had a car for me to look at that he felt was what I wanted., He picked me up and I loved the Trax he picked out for me. Everything was approved and the deal wrapped up. I drove it home that day.

My 2019 Equinox has an auto-stop feature that's driving me nuts. Service manager said they would not turn it off. Newer models 2022 and up have a switch where the driver can turn it off. Why can't the service department disable auto-stop feature. I am considering on trading the vehicle in. But I will go to a different dealership and find someone willing to work we me! I explained many times how frustrating this auto-stop feature is.

After my oil change I asked if the tire pressure had been checked. I was told yes, it had not. I was told it was a multi inspection but there was no list of what that meant. When I got left none of the tires had the same pressure, they ranged from 32 to 37 pounds.

They got my oil change and tires rotation quickly.

My first service appointment with Clay Maxey of Mountain Home was outstanding. I arrived about 5 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment and there were a few people ahead of me. The service reps quickly helped each person and when it was my turn, I was greeted warmly. The gentleman asked if I would be waiting for my vehicle and then directed me toward a couple of waiting areas. They serviced my vehicle in under an hour and had me on my way. All the employees that I interacted with were very pleasant.

Eric Mackey did not presure my wife and I at all. We were treated with respect. The two gentlemen who work in the finance office were very helpful and respectful to us as well. They made the purchase easy and fair. Jackson was helpful in making sure we understood the extended warranty. However it was difficult to hear him, he did try to presser us into buying, but I knew where my financial situation is and what we could afford. We respectfully declined. We are happy and at peace with our decision. Overall our experience at Clay Maxey was a positive one. My drivers side tail light assembly was collecting water for unknown reasons. Contacted AJ in service and he ask to come to dealership so the service department could look at it. The following day after inspection was informed GM would take care of the issue at no charge. The best part I was in and out in 15 minutes. A few days later AJ called to tell me the part was in and to just stop at anytime and it would be a quick fix. I showed up a few hours later and within 20 minutes it was repaired and I was on my merry way. Now that's great customer service!

Never a problem or bad thing to say about Clay Maxey. Service has been good and my tech skills are not good but questions I had in the past have been answered by staff. Recent visit for oil change service and tire rotation also went well. If ever asked up to this point I would recommend Clay Maxey .,...... My only complaint is that a physical Owners Manual is not available
