The 2024 Chevy Traverse: Comfort and Room for the Whole Family

Your family deserves a vehicle that can fit all of you comfortably, as it's important to have your own space even on short journeys. The 2024 Chevy Traverse has all the space you need, and there are many other features that make it even more pleasant to spend time in.

The 2024 Chevy Traverse Diverse: Comfort and Room for the Whole Family

Space for All

Many SUVs have extremely cramped third rows, making them only suitable for children. That's not a problem you'll encounter in the Traverse. You can pack the entire vehicle with adults, and everybody will still have room to spare. That makes it perfect for a family with children who'll blossom into teens and young adults in no time.

With over 32 inches of legroom in the third row and over 40 inches of space for stretching out your legs in the front and second row, say goodbye to painful joints and stiff limbs during long trips.

Accommodation for Cargo

You can also fit plenty of cargo into the back of the Traverse. Both the second and third rows fold down to accommodate more than the regular cargo area can hold. In the space behind the third row, there are 22.9 cubic feet of space for holding all your cargo. Folding down the second row gets you 56.6 cubes of room. Finally, you've got 97.6 cubic feet to fill up with cargo when the second and third rows are both folded flat.

Flair for Adventure

Does your family enjoy having an occasional adventure? If so, then the Z71 trim is the one to choose. Its all-terrain tires can take on any surface you drive on, and the Terrain Mode helps matters even further. It also has an off-road-tuned suspension to help rides on rough ground feel smoother.

Hands-Free Excellence

Driving for long periods can lead to fatigue, so wouldn't it be nice if you could go hands-free for a while and just watch the road while your car drives itself? With Super Cruise, that's exactly what you can do.

There are certain sections of highways all across the country that are compatible with Super Cruise. When you're on one of those highways, you can engage Super Cruise and let your Traverse do all the work while you keep your eyes on the road.  This is a feature available on some of the higher trims of the Traverse, and it's worth getting if you love impressive technology.

Cabin Full of Comfort

Depending on the trim, expect a 6-way manual driver seat or an 8-way power driver seat. The front seat passenger can expect a 4-way manual seat or a 6-way manual seat. The front seats are heated on all trims for even more comfort.

Chevy Engine Care: Tips for Long-Term Performance

The engine is the most important and valuable part of your Chevy. It contains numerous systems that must work together to provide the power to move your vehicle. As time passes, parts will wear out or become damaged, and engine performance suffers. As your Chevy dealer, we want to give you a few examples of the types of Chevy engine maintenance we provide. Examples of Chevy Engine Maintenance Available at Your Chevy Dealer Spark Plug Replacement A spark plug is connected to each engine cylinder and ignites the fuel-air mixture in its cylinder once the mixture is sufficiently compressed. Once this happens, the fuel-air mixture creates a carefully timed series of miniature explosions that generate the energy to move your Chevy. The plugs wear out due to age and can also be affected by other engine issues. A plug that doesn't ignite the mixture correctly causes a misfire. You'll feel a drop in power and a lurching sensation, and repeated misfiring can damage the cylinders and pistons. If more than one plug is damaged, your Chevy can stall, and this sudden stopping could result in an accident. We'll test your spark plugs and replace any damaged ones. Oil Replacement Oil is pumped through your engine and lubricates all moving parts. Lubrication is essential, as many engine components depend on friction to work effectively, and the oil protects them with a friction-resistant coating. The oil's movement cools hot components, helping to reduce the engine temperature. In addition, oil contains a variety of additives that keep your engine clean, prevent rust, and break down blockages. As time passes, the oil absorbs dirt, tiny metal fragments, and other debris. This makes the oil thicker and slower, and it loses many of its special properties. Thicker oil can clog the oil filter, which can cause engine damage. We'll drain the old oil and install a new oil filter. We then seal the oil sump where the oil is stored and refill your engine with fresh oil. Air Filter Replacement Combustion requires fuel and air. While fuel is delivered to the intake manifold by the fuel injectors, air enters through the radiator grille and passes into the engine air filter. This filter traps dust, dirt, and other debris, allowing only clean air to enter the intake manifold and mix with the fuel. In time, the filter will become clogged with dirt, and airflow into the engine becomes restricted. A lack of air for combustion turns the engine fuel-rich, and the higher fuel-to-air ratio increases fuel consumption while reducing engine performance. Additionally, the fuel-rich atmosphere damages the spark plugs and other engine components by coating them in sticky carbon. Replacing a filter takes a few seconds, and the fuel-to-air ratio will return to normal. Book your engine maintenance today by contacting us at Clay Maxey Chevrolet in Mountain Home, AR.
